Roman Reigns may be known as “The Tribal Chief” in the ring, but to his kids, he’s just "dad."

The WWE star, who was born Leati Joseph "Joe" Anoaʻi and comes from the famous Anoa’i family of wrestlers, shares five children with his wife, Galina Becker. The pair met in 2007 when they were both attending the Georgia Institute of Technology. That December, they welcomed a daughter together, Joelle "JoJo" Anoa’i.

Seven years later, in December 2014, the couple married in a traditional Samoan ceremony on Disney’s Castaway Cay, a private island in the Bahamas. Their daughter JoJo was involved in the wedding festivities, which included a Disney cruise, he told WWE.

Nearly two years later, Reigns and Becker welcomed twin boys in November 2016. Their family grew again in 2020 when they welcomed a second set of twin boys. They have not yet shared the names of their four sons, but Reigns has opened up about being a father of five.

“It’s loud. It’s hectic,” the WWE Raw star told the Today show in July 2022 about his family life. “When you have that many kids, you really have to have a schedule and just try to get everything in line. ... You have to try to delegate and give them all as much attention as possible.”

Here’s everything to know about Roman Reigns’ five kids.

Reigns and Becker’s daughter, Joelle Anoa’i, affectionately referred to as “JoJo,” was born on Dec. 14, 2007.

JoJo has appeared at a number of red carpet events with her father, including the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards and the ESPY Awards. She has also shared the screen with him: In 2014, Reigns and his daughter participated in a PSA for the Ad Council’s “Take Time to Be a Dad” campaign.

The campaign featured a series of ads showcasing WWE superstars with their kids to promote greater involvement by fathers in their children’s lives. In their commercial, Reigns and JoJo sing “I’m a Little Teapot” together before sitting down for a tea party.

WWE also shared a behind-the-scenes look at the campaign with extra footage of Reigns and his daughter on set.

“As a man, to be a successful father, that’s everything for me,” he said in the clip. “When you’re having a bad day as an individual, wipe your schedule clean and have daddy-daughter time. That’s the type of stuff that helps me out and levels me out. If I just hear her little voice, I’m good to go.”

He shared how JoJo took her role as an actress seriously. “We practiced the song a good bit. She sang it for the past two weeks," the wrestler added.

In December 2015, Reigns won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and it happened to coincide with his daughter turning 8, so he dedicated the title to her.

“Happy Birthday JoJo...This one is for you!” he wrote on X.

On an episode of GQ’s Actually Me in September 2019, Reigns shared more about his home life, particularly when it comes to being a dad. “If I’m at home, I’ll take my daughter to school. And then I’ll work into some breakfast and maybe a workout,” he said about his daily morning routine.

Driving JoJo to school every morning has become an important and fun part of his day. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2021, he told host Jimmy Fallon about a memorable time he dropped off JoJo at school.

“She's about to turn 14, she's the handful right now,” he said. “She was explaining to me that right now, the whole Christmas music before Thanksgiving is a big thing. They’re trying to cancel this whole situation and Mariah Carey and that’s just craziness to me.”

He went on to describe how he decided to play a prank on her by blasting the song, “All I Want for Christmas is You,” while dropping her off at school.

“I turn it down to tell her I love her and goodbye, and as soon as she opens the door, I just crank it up. She melts,” he quipped. “There's like five of her friends turning the corner, going to class and witnessing this whole situation.”

Reigns and Becker’s Older Twin Boys, 8

Reigns and Becker welcomed their first set of twin boys in November 2016.

While Reigns hasn’t publicly shared the names of his sons or their exact date of birth, he mentioned that they were 4 months old during an appearance on Access Hollywood in March 2017.

As a pro wrestler, Reigns often travels for work, and he spent his first Father’s Day as a dad of three on the road. Still, his family wasn't far from his mind, and he shared a sweet message with them on X.

“Happy Father's Day to my Dad and all the others out there,” he wrote in June 2017. “Wish i was home with the Wife and Kids but I'm def missing them. I love yall!”

A few years later, during an interview on the Impaulsive in September 2022, he spoke about balancing his WWE career with fatherhood and how his kids view his profession.

“[They] are just starting to kind of understand, like, dad goes to the wrestling show,” he said of his then-5-year-old twins. “They’re nuts, but they’re getting to [be] a good, controllable nuts.”

He went on to say that he keeps his work life and his personal life as separate as possible.

“At the end of the day, I’m just a husband and a father and this WWE platform that has carried me and lifted me to new heights, I have to just check it at the door,” he explained. “There ain’t no Roman Reigns in my house. I’m just Joe talking to my wife.”

Reigns and Becker’s Younger Twin Boys, 4

Reigns welcomed a second set of twin boys in 2020.

During an interview with Muscle and Fitness that April, he revealed the news that his wife was expecting again.

“Three with two in the oven, so I’m looking to be papa bear of five,” he said when asked about being a father of three. “Breaking news — we haven’t really shared that."

The WWE star, who was in the NFL before becoming a pro wrestler, discussed his philosophy as a parent regarding letting his children play football.

“I want to support my kids. I want them to be active. I want them to have discipline. I want them to be able to focus on something and I think the best way to do that is within competitive sports,” he shared. “But I don’t think contact is necessary at a young age.”

Around that same time, Reigns pulled out of WrestleMania 36 due to his concerns about exposure during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking with TMZ in May 2020, Reigns confirmed that his children were the reason behind his WrestleMania 36 departure. “We just had two newborn twins," he revealed. "Twin boys, they’re 8 weeks old, so I had to make a decision for them."

He explained that he would have returned to work if it were just him. “This is bigger than me. It’s my family, it’s my children," the pro wrestler added. "They are my legacy. No matter what I do in this world, my children are going to be the ones that represent my name.”

Reigns reiterated his stance on stepping back during the COVID-19 pandemic in a June 2020 interview with The Hindu MetroPlus.

“[WWE] has done everything that they can to make it the safest work environment possible. It is not the workplace that I was necessarily concerned about,” he said. “I trust my life with my co-workers every time I step foot in the ring, but I just can’t put the same trust when it has my children, my wife and my family involved.”

During the same interview, he opened up about welcoming his second set of twins. “It’s been tough,” he admitted. “It is hard to get two babies coordinated and on the same schedule so that they don’t keep you up all night."

Reigns continued, "They seem to have this little trick they like to play at about 6:30 in the morning, that is when I really wake up bright-eyed and ready to go... but it has been great. It has been a great blessing to have two more additions and to be able to expand our family tree.”
