Spanish newspaper Sport claims that Claudio Ranieri’s Roma will ask Real Madrid for teenage striker Endrick on loan in January.

The Giallorossi are struggling this season and already on their third coach of the campaign after sacking Daniele Rossi and then Ivan Juric.

They brought Ranieri out of retirement and he needs reinforcements to help an increasingly tired Artem Dovbyk upfront.

According to Sport, several clubs are interested in picking up Endrick in January and Roma are at the forefront of that list.

The Brazil international is only 18 years old, but Real Madrid paid €50m plus bonuses to buy him from Palmeiras over the summer.

He managed only 10 competitive appearances for the club, contributing two goals and an assist, despite only playing a total of 122 minutes of football.

A January loan could give Endrick valuable playing time to get more accustomed to the European game.

Other potential candidates for the player could be Southampton and Real Valladolid.
