Roma are set on advancing their first proposal for Inter’s Davide Frattesi.

The Italian midfielder has become Roma’s number one priority in this transfer window.

Despite Inter’s elevated demands, Roma are determined to try and convince the Nerazzurri to let go of the 25-year-old player.

According to La Repubblica, te first real meeting between Roma and Inter will be on Monday to try to get the deal off the ground.

In recent days, a summit between Giallorossi sporting director Florent Ghisolfi and agent Giuseppe Riso took place in Milan to study the best proposal to present to the Nerazzurri.

The operation will be divided into two parts: the first will concern the permanent transfer of Davide Frattesi, while the second will involve Bryan Cristante.

Roma will present a financial offer of around 30 million euros, probably on loan with obligation to buy and multi-year payment. A figure far from Inter’s initial requests (45 million), but in line with the evaluation that the Giallorossi have of the player.

The midfielder has already communicated to Inzaghi and the Nerazzurri club that he wants to leave. And he has given his ok to the transfer to the capital.

Roma’s will be the first concrete offer to arrive on Inter’s doorstep.

In the event of Frattesi’s departure, Inter urgently needs to replace him. Hence Giuseppe Riso’s idea: the agent wants to propose his other client, Bryan Cristante, to the Nerazzurri.

The formula would be an 18-month loan with the right to buy, to overcome the economic constraints imposed by Oaktree. The operation is complex, but the foundations on which to begin negotiations have been laid.
