Roma are reportedly prepared to offer Milan one of their own players in exchange for making Alexis Saelemaeker’s loan deal permanent, and the Giallorossi have already decided which two players are on the table according to Tuesday’s reports.

Saelemaekers joined Roma in a straight loan deal from Milan at the end of the summer transfer window, while Tammy Abraham moved in the other direction, also on loan but technically a separate deal.

Abraham, who scored the winning goal for the Rossoneri in Monday’s spectacular Supercoppa Italiana final victory over Inter, is one of the players Roma are willing to send to Milan according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Pink Paper suggests that Italy international Bryan Cristante could also be offered to Milan as part of a potential player-plus-cash deal for Saelemaekers.

Roma, currently under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri, who will step into a director role at the end of the 2024-25 season, are planning a large overhaul of their squad over the coming months.

Several players are understood to be available for transfer, including Sunderland-linked Enzo Le Fee, summer signing Mario Hermoso, the aforementioned Abraham and Cristante, and potentially several others as well.
