Roma prepare first official bid for Artem Dovbyk

Roma have reportedly prepared their first bid for Girona striker Artem Dovbyk.

The Ukrainian striker is now Roma’s top target to further reinforce Daniele De Rossi’s squad.

Talks are on as the Giallorossi want to overtake Atletico Madrid in the race for Dovbyk who finished last season as La Liga’s top goal-scorer.

The deal remains difficult, but Roma are trying their best to formulate a convincing offer for Girona after obtaining the player’s full availability.

According to Gianluigi Longari of Sportitalia, Roma have ready an offer of almostGi 40 million euros with included bonuses.

Girona are still asking for 40 million euros in fixed fee which corresponds to the amount of Dovbyk’s release clause.

Talks are on-going between the two sides.
