Dan and Ryan Friedkin are expected to arrive in Italy on Saturday ahead of a series meetings with various members of Roma’s management team, including the coach, team and directors, according to Friday’s updates.
Roma owners due in Italy on Saturday
According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, the Friedkins will arrive at Ciampino airport in Rome on Saturday ahead of a scheduled visit.
Corriere dello Sport write that the Friedkins, along with business associate Marc Watts, will ‘take stock’ of the current situation at Roma, from both sporting and commercial perspectives.
Friday’s report suggests that Roma are looking for a ‘turning point’ ahead of a rocky start to the 2024-25 season on and off the pitch.
The Giallorossi are currently 12th in Serie A with just three wins from their opening 11 league matches, and currently sit in 20th in the Europa League standings with five points from their first four matches of the season.
There has also been recent unrest surrounding coach Ivan Juric, who was only appointed in September after the dismissal of club legend Daniele De Rossi.
