Roma are to face one of their toughest opponents this coming Sunday after a difficult start to their league season.

The Giallorossi will meet Thiago Motta’s Juventus in Turin in what is expected to be a tough challenge for Daniele De Rossi’s men who are coming off a defeat to Empoli.

Today’s edition of Corriere della Sera shares a quite discouraging fact ahead of the big game on Sunday.

In the last 23 years, 14 Roma goalkeepers have conceded 36 goals in the last 21 Serie A matches against Juventus in their stadium.

None of them remained undefeated.

The last to succeed was Antonioli, who had the scudetto on his chest on 29 September 2001 when he was saved by the post following a header from Iuliano: that evening Roma won 2-0 with a free kick from Batistuta and a left footed shot under the crossbar from Marcos Assunçao.
