Roma are serious in their pursuit of Juve attacker Matías Soulé.

The Argentine is Roma’s current priority on the market as he is considered the ideal fit for Daniele De Rossi’s squad.

On Wednesday afternoon, Roma – having already secured an agreement with the player in question – submitted their first official offer to Juventus.

As reported by Filippo Biafora in today’s edition of Il Tempo, the capital club offered 20 million euros plus 5 million in bonuses.

Roma did this knowing that Juve are currently asking for around 35 million euros to let go of the 21-year-old talent.

However, the newspaper adds, for now Leicester’s much feared second offer has not yet arrived. The Foxes are the only other team interested in the Argentine.

Furthermore, going to the Premier League is not currently on the winger’s mind.

Meanwhile, Juventus are in a rush to cash in due to their own lack of funds for transfer targets.

Talks between the two clubs are on-going with Roma hoping to make progress in the coming days.
