Roma appear to consider Everton striker Beto the desired back-up option to Artem Dovbyk.

One of the capital club’s priorities for January remains signing an alternative to the Ukrainian forward who was had to play recently despite not being 100% fit.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have made it known to Everton that they would be willing to take on Beto on loan.

The former Udinese attacker is one of the profiles Roma have been monitoring for some time.

His limited role at Everton and the Friedkins’ latest takeover of the Premier League side could facilitate a loan deal in January.
