Roma hotel lit up with fireworks and firecrackers by Elfsborg fans
Elfsborg fans were set on disturbing the peace and quiet of the night before the Europa League fixture with Roma.
During the night between Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 October, supporters of the Scandinavian club lit up a display of fireworks and firecrackers under the Quality Hotel, which hosted Roma players and staff, in an attempt to disturb their sleep.
As reported by Il Messaggero, the intervention of the authorities was necessary to remove around 20 Swedish fans.
The incident occurred around 3 am with the game set to kick-off at 9pm (CET).
