Roma are reportedly eyeing Pierlugi Gollini as their next second-choice goalkeeper.

The Italian shot-stopper is the favorite to replace Matthew Ryan who could leave Roma after only six months.

Gollini is currently serving a loan spell at Genoa from Atalanta with a buy option at the end of the season.

However, following his most recent injury, Gollini lost his place in Genoa’s starting line-up and is now open to a move.

According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Roma have held positive talks with Gollini’s entourage in recent days.
