Roma give Federico Chiesa ultimatum

Roma have given Federico Chiesa an ultimatum after the player hesitated to consider their proposal.

Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport paints a vivid picture of the situation surrounding Chiesa’s indecisiveness with regards to his future.

The player is said to be keen on Roma as a back-up option but would prefer to move to a club that competes in the Champions League.

Thus, Chiesa has delayed his response to Roma, asking for more time to consider eventual offers from abroad.

The indecision on the part of the Juventus attacker has irritated the ownership and the entire management.

Roma’s entire philosophy of the new three-year project with De Rossi at the helm is based on players who are hungry to play for the Giallorossi.

As a result, the Giallorossi will not wait any longer. Chiesa had announced that he wanted to make a decision after his wedding on July 20th.

However, the capital club gave him an ultimate and now, if he really wants Roma he will have to choose in the next few hours, hoping that the management can then accept his step back.
