Roma deny rumors of interest in Raphael Varane

The capital club responded immediately to the recent rumors of an apparent interest in Raphael Varane.

Earlier today, Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport suggested Roma had shown interest in the French free agent.

Despite Varane’s imminent meeting with Como, Di Marzio had reported that Roma could also make an attempt to sign the ex-Real Madrid man.

However, Fabrizio Romano states that Roma have denied rumors of such kind.

The capital club have reiterated their desire to bet on younger talents and to avoid costly operations that might weigh on the club’s wage bill.
