Roma deem excessive Standard Liege’s demands for Arnaud Bodart

Roma have put negotiations for Arnaud Bodart of Standard Liege on hold.

The capital club had identified the Belgian shot-stopper as the fitting replacement of Rui Patricio to serve as back-up to Mile Svilar.

However, recent talks with Standard Liege stalled mainly due to the Belgians’ demands for the 26-year-old goalie.

According to RMC Sport, Roma have communicated to Standard Liege that their asking price of 5 million euros will not be matched.

Roma have asked for time to study an alternative solution to the situation.
