Roma Biding Time In Pursuit Of Inter Milan & Italy Star – Price Tag Too High

Roma are biding their time in their pursuit of midfielder Davide Frattesi, as Inter Milan’s asking price is too high for them.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero, via FCInter1908. They report that the Giallorossi could make another attempt to sign the 25-year-old closer to the end of the month.

By now, it is hardly a secret that Roma are keen to sign Inter midfielder Frattesi.

Moreover, the Italian international looks to be pushing for the move back to his boyhood club.

However, at the same time, Inter’s stance is also clear. They will only listen to offers for Frattesi that at least come very close to their asking price.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly demanding around €40-45 million to sell Frattesi.

Roma Biding Their Time In Davide Frattesi Pursuit – Inter Asking Price Too High

According to Il Messaggero, Inter’s asking price is too big an obstacle for Roma. At least at the moment.

The capital club are well aware of the fact that no offer they could realistically make at the moment would realistically convince Inter.

However, that hardly means that Roma have given up their interest in Frattesi. Far from it.

Naturally, the Giallorossi will wait and see how things develop over the rest of January.

If Inter’s stance is to change due to finding a replacement or any other factor later in the transfer window, Roma could make their move.

Alternatively, the Giallorossi could always wait until the summer to try and sign Frattesi.

However, as things stand, Roma are not making any moves. They feel that a move to sign Frattesi would not be feasible for them at the moment.
