Roma back out race for Girona’s Dovbyk

Roma appear to have been deterred by Girona’s demands for Artem Dovbyk.

In recent hours, the Giallorossi appeared to have made an attempt to hijack the Ukrainian striker’s agreement with Atletico Madrid.

However, Sky Sport reports that after a round of inquiries with the player’s entourage, Roma decided to back out.

The reason for this being the player’s requests and Girona’s evaluation of La Liga’s top goal-scorer of last season.

Thus, Roma are bound to shift their focus on other targets to strengthen De Rossi’s attack ahead of next season.
