Roma to use Azzurri’s Euros flop to their advantage in talks for Federico Chiesa, Raoul Bellanova

Roma are still in pursuit of Federico Chiesa and Raoul Bellanova as potential summer reinforcements.

The two Italian players have been heavily linked with Roma and are still considered top targets for the capital club.

Today’s edition of Il Tempo reports that Italy’s Euros flop and their anticipated elimination from the tournament could facilitate Roma’s dealings for both Chiesa and Bellanova.

Chiesa’s underwhelming display did not do much to raise his value and Bellanova’s absolute lack of playing also did not favor his development ahead of a busy summer window for him and his entourage.

The newspaper claims that Roma could renew contact with Chiesa’s agent this week.

On the other hand, the capital club will continue to assess Torino’s demands for Bellanova.
