Roma and Milan are making rapid progress for a swap involving Alexis Saelemaekers and Tammy Abraham.

The two clubs are negotiating the exchange just two days away from the transfer deadline.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the trail leading Roma to Saelemaekers is particularly hot after the two clubs renewed discussions yesterday.

The Rossoneri, who need a striker who can support Morata, would offer to Roma the Belgian winger and a compensation (around 7 million euros) to the Giallorossi.

Fonseca has always wanted the English striker, who in the meantime has chosen to wait for Roma’s decision: the club have already given the OK for the completion of the operation.

The success of the deal is no longer dependent on Luka Jovic’s future at Milan.
