Roma have reportedly added a new candidate to their list of potential executives for the CEO vacancy.

According to La Repubblica, Roma have reportedly identified Antonio Amendola as a new executive profile.

Amendola, a 54-year-old originally from Bari, boasts a 15-year background in Agcom and a role as a consultant for Antonello Giacomelli, former undersecretary of the Ministry of Economic Development in the Renzi and Gentiloni governments.

He also served as director of international relations for the US telecommunications giant AT&T and is the founder of Shoot4change, an international photography network.

According to sources inside and outside Trigoria, Amendola has reportedly managed to gain the trust of Dan and Ryan Friedkin, who are aiming for a complete management overhaul after the departure of key figures such as Daniele De Rossi and former CEO Lina Souloukou.

His presence yesterday at Trigoria, in his AS Roma gear, attracted attention, suggesting that an agreement could be close.
