Robert Lewandowski passed a club legend in Barcelona record books with 2 goals vs Valencia

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski on Saturday night continued to etch his name ever further into the history books of the club.

As much came by way of the Pole’s latest haul in front of goal.

Barcelona of course got the club’s campaign up and running yesterday evening, making the trip to Mestalla for a La Liga meeting with Valencia.

When all was said and done, the Hansi Flick era got off to a winning start, owing to an eventual 2-1 triumph.

And it was the aforementioned Lewandowski who proved himself difference-maker, responding to Hugo Duro’s opener with a match-winning brace either side of the interval.
