That’s what happened to Franco Mastantuono on Sunday night as he bagged the only goal in River’s win over Sarmiento.

The teenage sensation has been fast-tracked to the first team over the past six months, playing eight times in the Primera Division in 2024.

This though, is his first goal for the capital club – and what a way to get it.
