Rimouski Trade King's Ransom To Blainville For Overager Fauchon
The Rimouski Océanic open the trade window with a big splash, acquiring the current QMJHL point leader, overage centerman Jonathan Fauchon from the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, as well as a second rounder in 2026 in exchange for five 2027 picks -- a first, a second, a third, a fourth and a sixth rounder.

Fauchon, 20, has 50 points (25+25) across just 31 games with the Armada, and recently became the team's all-time franchise point-leader with 220 (97+123) over 227 games with the team.
The superstar has no NHL affiliation, nor is committed to any NCAA program as of yet, however that should very well change this season.
Another trade
The Rimouski Océanic made another move this year, swapping a 2025 first round pick (from Moncton) to Val-d'Or for Victoriaville's first round pick.
