Rick Karsdorp in talks with Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor are pushing to sign out-of-favor Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp.

After being left out of Roma’s preseason training camp, the Dutch right-back was placed on Roma’s transfer list with immediate effect.

So far, Karsdorp was able to only draw interest from Turkey.

As reported by Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Trabzonspor are trying to overtake Besiktas in the race for the ex-Feyenoord man.

The Turkish club are looking to replace 32-year-old Thomas Meunier and have now identified Karsdorp as a potential candidate for the job.
