Before WSL newbies Crystal Palace took on Liverpool, boss Laura Kaminski insisted that her side were getting used to the pace of the league.

And that rang true when her side took the lead after just 14 minutes away at Liverpool’s home in St. Helens.

And it was a former Liverpool player that gave Palace the advantage, as Katie Stengel came back to haunt them when she finished from a rebounded shot.

Liverpool have since found an equaliser, but Stengel has certainly made things difficult for her ex-teammates.
