In his report, Di Marzio claims Napoli and Lorenzo Pellegrini’s entourage had found an agreement for a January move.

The Roma captain had been unhappy about his lack of playing time and, spurred by his agent, had seemed inclined to accept a move away from the Italian capital.

However, the goal he scored in the Derby della Capitale to lead Roma over Lazio seems to have changed everything.

The Giallorossi skipper is now projected to stay at Roma at least until the end of the season.
