Revealed – How Much Inter Milan Would Earn By Selling Italy U21 Star To Empoli
A report in the Italian media reveals Inter Milan would collect 5 million euros from selling Sebastiano Esposito to Empoli.
The 22-year-old is one of three siblings who rose through the club’s ranks.
His older brother Salvatore has already joined Spezia on loan, while the youngest of the trio, Francesco Pio, is also developing his game with the Aquilotti, albeit on loan.
As for Sebastiano, he signed for Empoli following a long summer transfer saga. He joined the Tuscans on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
According to Calciomercato, the Azzurri would be able to keep the young striker at the Carlo Castellani Stadium on a permanent basis by splashing 5 million euros.
On the other hand, Inter didn’t insert a buy-back option in their agreement with Empoli.
Therefore, if the Italian champions plan to take back the player, they would have to negotiate a deal with the Tuscan club.
Esposito has been impressive in the early going, cementing himself as a regular starter for his new club.

Earlier today, he scored his first goal for the club in the 2-0 victory over Cagliari. He has been playing as a support striker for Lorenzo Colombo who’s leading the line.
Esposito made his Serie A debut during Antonio Conte’s time at Inter Milan. He then embarked on several loan spells, representing the likes of Basel, Bari and Anderlecht.
The young forward spent the previous campaign on loan at Sampdoria, developing his game in Serie B.
Therefore, he is currently enjoying his first campaign in Serie A, at least as a regular starter.
