Revealed – Man City Price Tag For Ex Bayern Munich & Barcelona Star Amid Links To Inter Milan & Juventus

Man City would want €25-30 million to sell Joao Cancelo to Inter Milan or Juventus this summer.

This according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com. The outlet report that Cancelo has been offered to both the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri.

One thing that seems virtually certain is that Cancelo will not be playing for Manchester City next season.

The Portuguese international has not been part of the English champions’ squad for a season and a half now. This followed a falling out with coach Pep Guardiola.

In January of 2023 Cancelo joined Bayern Munich on loan for half a season.

Then last campaign, the former Valencia man spent the season on loan with Barcelona.

However, despite a fairly successful season for Cancelo at the Camp Nou, the Blaugranas will not be making the loan move a permanent deal.

Therefore, City and Cancelo’s representatives are searching for a new club for the 29-year-old.

Reports suggest that a return to Serie A would be one possibility for Cancelo.

The Portuguese international has played for both Inter and Juventus before. He spent the 2017-18 season with the Nerazzuri, and the 2018-19 campaign with the Bianconeri.

And Calciomercato.com confirm that Cancelo’s representatives have offered him to both of his former clubs in the Italian top flight.

But naturally, the finances involved in a deal could end up being the crucial factor.

Cancelo would be willing to reduce his wages to re-join either Inter or Juventus. Last season, the Portuguese agreed to cut his earnings to €6 million net per season at Barcelona.

And as far as an agreement with City goes, CM report that the Cityzens wouldn’t entirely rule out yet another loan move.

However, City’s preference by far would be to sell Cancelo once and for all.

And the asking price would be around €25-30 million.
