Revealed – Major Obstacle For Inter Milan To Sign Man City Linked Real Valladolid Star
Inter Milan could have trouble signing Real Valladolid defender Juma Bah due to his non-EU status.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri would have to coordinate with another club to sign the 18-year-old.
Bah is a player who has come onto Inter’s radar as a possible defensive target.
The Nerazzurri’s aim is to revitalize a backline that is starting to show its age. And the Real Valladolid defender is certainly the right age, at eighteen.
Bah has impressed in La Liga this season. The Sierra Leonean has therefore caught Inter’s eye.
Non-EU Status A Big Obstacle For Inter In Pursuit Of Valladolid Defender Juma Bah
But Inter are not the only club to have taken notice of Bah’s form this season.
Premier League giants Manchester City are also targeting the Sierra Leonean.
And according to Tuttosport, there is one factor that could weigh decisively against Inter.
The Nerazzurri do not have an open slot in their squad for a non-EU player.
Therefore, if Inter were to try and sign Bah they would have to coordinate with another club, by sending the 18-year-old out on loan.
Monza could have been that club. However, the Brianzoli have instead signed Stefan Lekovic in defense.
Therefore, a move for Bah currently looks quite unlikely for Inter.
