A few days ago, Neymar Jr. spoke honestly about his relationship with Kylian Mbappé during their time at Paris Saint-Germain. Moreover, these remarks have resulted in the Frenchman reacting to what was said about their time together in the French capital.

In 2017, Paris Saint-Germain made headlines with the arrivals of Neymar Jr. and Mbappé, signaling their ambitious pursuit of UEFA Champions League glory.

“When Lionel Messi arrived at PSG, Kylian started feeling jealous,” Neymar said.

How did Kylian Mbappé react to Neymar’s comments?

In an interview with TNT Sports Brasil, the Real Madrid star chose not to respond directly to Neymar’s comments but couldn’t resist a subtle jab, hinting that he, too, could reveal some behind-the-scenes details if he wanted to.

“No (I won’t respond),” Mbappé told the outlet (h/t Canal Supporters). “The truth is, I have nothing to say. I’m very focused on what I’m doing here in Madrid. I have a lot of respect for Neymar.

“Of course, I could say a lot about Neymar, but I prefer to focus on the positive—on a unique player in the history of football and all the moments we shared together in Paris. Now, I’m in Madrid, and I want to enjoy my time here. Best of luck to Neymar, his family, and all his friends.”
