Revealed – Inter Milan Say No To Another Player + Cash Offer From Roma For Italy Star
Inter Milan have turned down an offer of Nicola Zalewski plus cash from Roma for midfielder Davide Frattesi.
This according to Italian outlet FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri have continued to hold firm in their stance that they are only interested in a straight cash bid for Frattesi.
It is no secret that Roma are keen on signing Inter midfielder Frattesi.
And reportedly, the Giallorossi want to sign the 25-year-old as early as this month.
Frattesi has grown unhappy with his lack of playing time at Inter. Therefore, the Italian international is reportedly pushing for an exit.
And Roma are keen to capitalize on Frattesi’s current situation.
Inter Turn Down Zalewski + Cash Offer From Roma For Davide Frattesi
The big problem for Roma would be Inter’s high asking price for Frattesi.
Reportedly, the Nerazzurri want as much as €45-50 million for the former Sassuolo midfielder. Particularly if they are to sell him during the January transfer window.
That would be a very high fee for Roma. Likely prohibitively so.
However, the capital club are looking for alternative ways to convince Inter.
One of the main ideas that the Giallorossi have had is to offer a player going the other way in order to lower the Nerazzurri’s cash demands.
Reportedly, Roma have already offered midfielder Bryan Cristante as part of a deal for Frattesi. Inter rejected this idea.
However, reports FCIN1908, that has not deterred Roma. The Giallorossi have offered another player – this time wingback Nicola Zalewski.
However, the outlet report, the Nerazzurri are not interested in the 22-year-old. They have once again reiterated their demand for a cash offer or nothing.
