Revealed – When Inter Milan & Italy Star Can Return From Thigh Injury

Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella could be back from injury for the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Cagliari.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the 27-year-old will miss next Monday’s match against Como.

Inter midfielder Barella has picked up a thigh injury.

The Nerazzurri confirmed that the Italian international underwent tests with the club’s medical staff. These tests revealed that he had suffered an elongation to adductor longus muscles in his right leg.

Barella picked up the injury during Inter’s Serie A win over Lazio earlier this week.

Clearly, there is no doubt that Barella will miss today’s Coppa Italia clash with Udinese.

Moreover, it would be virtually impossible to see the 27-year-old rushing back for Inter’s next match.

The Nerazzurri take on newly-promoted Como next Monday.

However, Sky report, Barella could be back in time for Inter’s following match.

That will be away to Barella’s former team Cagliari. The Italian international joined Inter from the Rossoblu in the summer of 2019.

And there is a good chance of Barella being part of the Inter squad that travels back to his native Sardinia for the last match of 2024.
