Repubblica: ‘A power war’ at Milan – Ibrahimovic vs. the management

AC Milan may have to make a bold decision in the upcoming days about the future of Paulo Fonseca, but this could bring a worrying issue – a ‘power war’ in the Rossoneri’s management.

With everything going on at Milan currently, there are things much less needed than a power war, but it seems that could be on the cards for the Rossoneri, according to a report from Repubblica (via Calciomercato.com).

The report suggests that there is an internal divide in the management, with none of them in agreement about who comes in to replace Fonseca if a decision is made to relieve him of his head coach duties.

There have already been issues with power dynamics this season with the current head coach and the Swede not on brilliant terms after three incidents, and this has already been a cause for concern. Additionally, there was the ‘boss’ debacle which happened very publically.

Now, Geoffrey Moncada, Giorgio Furlani and Ibra must make a decision about the current coach and hire a coach as a united front, as opposed to one leading party and two in agreeance. The report goes on to suggest that the choice of the former striker is Igor Tudor, whereas Maurizio Sarri and Edin Terzic are also liked.
