Reports: Theo Hernandez and Morata skip training with France and Spain – the latest

There is some alarm regarding a couple of AC Milan’s key players as Theo Hernandez and Alvaro Morata did not train with their respective national teams yesterday.

According to what is being reported by L’Equipe (via MilanNews), Theo Hernandez and Christopher Nkunku missed France ‘s training today ahead of Thursday night’s UEFA Nations League home game against Israel.

However, it seems to have just been precautionary and both will be back on the field tomorrow with the rest of the team at Clairefontaine. Theo did not leave for Les Bleus duty with any known issue, so it could have been a case of him arriving with some fatigue.

Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) state that Morata did not train with Spain yesterday either. The captain was present at the start of the session to commemorate the victims of the tragic flood in Valencia with a minute of silence, but then did not take part in the team work.

Between today and tomorrow we will know if he will be on the pitch on Friday against Denmark or if he will wait for the next match to return to the disposal of Luis de la Fuente.

The striker missed the Cagliari game due to concussion protocol and Paulo Fonseca didn’t like the Spain coach stating he would play for them.
