Yahoo Sports Reports: Milan left waiting by Rashford as Barcelona enter race – the situation
Multiple reports are claiming that Marcus Rashford has not yet decided on his future, with Barcelona now rivalling AC Milan for his signature.
This morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) reports that yesterday could have been the decisive day in the negotiations between Milan and Rashford, whose agent was supposed to meet Manchester United and give a definitive answer to the Rossoneri.
Not only did this answer not arrive, but there was a slowdown in the deal due to the entry of Barcelona into the race. Despite their well-known financial problems, they met the entourage of the English forward, which ‘flattered’ him.
The Catalan side are determined to make room for him in the squad by offloading Ansu Fati. Thus, Rashford has ‘asked Milan for time’, avoiding making an immediate decision regarding his future, but the directors were hoping to hear back tomorrow.
If an answer does not arrive quickly, the Diavolo would turn straight to Kyle Walker given that they can only sign one English player. Precisely for this reason, the Manchester City defender – who has also been offered to Inter – is on stand-by at the moment .
