Reports from NFL Network and ESPN paint a dim picture for the running back’s availability on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts:

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette, listed as questionable for Sunday due to foot injury, is considered a gameday decision. Jags not optimistic.

Fournette, the NFL’s second-leading rusher this season with 596 yards, suffered a sprained ankle in the fourth quarter last Sunday. Doctors cleared him to return to the game, but he didn’t as the Jags fell to 3-3 on the season.
If indeed he Fournette misses Sunday’s game, the Jaguars are expected to turn to Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon to carry the rushing load. Heck, probably the offensive load in general, if offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett is to be believed.
“I think right now we want to roll and … run the ball downhill,” he told ESPN.com.
