Report: Wild to sign Mats Zuccarello to 5-year deal worth $6M AAV
The Minnesota Wild will reportedly sign Mats Zuccarello to a five-year contract with an average annual value (AAV) of $6 million, according to TSN’s Pierre LeBrun.

Zuccarello spent the first eight years of his career with the New York Rangers, before being traded to the Dallas Stars last season. He posted 40 points in 48 games between both teams, and notched four goals and 11 points in 13 playoff games with the Stars.

It was reported earlier this week that Zuccarello was seeking a five-year deal and the skilled forward got the term he was looking for, adding some more skill and speed to the Wild’s forward corps.
