Report – Roma Outcast Rejects Ligue 1 Giants: Only Wants Inter Milan
Roma wingback Nicola Zalewski has no intention of joining Marseille amid talks he could link up with Inter Milan.
According to Relevo via FCInterNews, Zalewski has rebuffed Marseille’s advances, hoping to secure a move to Giuseppe Meazza.
It’s no secret that the 23-year-old wants to depart the Stadio Olimpico.
However, it’s easier said than done.
After his move to Galatasaray fell flat in September, Zalewski has been an unpopular figure in Rome.
Indeed, his reluctance to pledge his long-term future to the Giallorossi has seen him fall out of favor with the club.
Nicola Zalewski Turns Down Marseille & Wants to Join Inter Milan
Inter and Villarreal have agreed upon a deal for Tajon Buchanan.
The 25-year-old will join the Yellow Submarine on loan with an option to buy.
However, his departure leaves Simone Inzaghi short-handed on the wing.
Therefore, Inter have earmarked Zalewski as an option to address the vacancy.
Meanwhile, Marseille tried to hijack the Pole’s rumored switch to Meazza but to no avail.
Zalewski seemingly wants to stay in Serie A and team up with the Nerazzurri, hence the rejection.
