Report – Four Clubs In Race To Sign Inter Milan & Canada Ace On Loan In Transfer Window Finale
Inter Milan outcast Tajon Buchanan reportedly drew attention from Villarreal and three Serie A clubs.
According to Sky Sport Italia via FCInterNews, Como, Monza, and Torino have set their sights on the Canada international.
Buchanan’s time at Giuseppe Meazza is up after failing to impose himself on manager Simone Inzaghi in the past 12 months.
Deemed surplus to requirements, the 25-year-old is ready to pack his bags.
However, he’ll leave the club on a six-month loan to gain more minutes and return to competitive form after a long-term injury.
More importantly, he could stay in Serie A.
Four Clubs in Running for Inter Milan Wingback Tajon Buchanan
Despite his struggles at Inter, there’s no shortage of interest in Buchanan’s services.
Como and Torino are in the mix. But Monza could be in pole position to sign the former Club Brugge star.
Indeed, they lured Tomas Palacios away from the Nerazzurri last week on loan without an option to buy.
Another similar agreement could be on the cards for Buchanan.
Meanwhile, Inter will not pursue replacements for the Argentine youngster.
However, they might need a new wingback to fill in for the Canadian now that Carlos Augusto has become Alessandro Bastoni’s deputy.
