Report – Fiorentina Join Race To Loan Inter Milan & Canada Star
Fiorentina have asked Inter Milan about the possibility of signing Canada international wingback Tajon Buchanan.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that La Viola see Buchanan as an alternative to Parma’s Dennis Man.
Inter wingback Buchanan looks like he could be on the way out this month.
Canada national team coach Jesse Marsch admitted that Buchanan in fact told him that he wants to join a club where he’ll get more playing time.
Therefore, a loan in the last few days of the January transfer window looks a real possibility.

A number of clubs have shown an interest in Buchanan’s signature.
These have included Torino, Monza, Villarreal, and Ajax. All could potentially loan the Canadian for the second half of the season.
But according to the Corriere, yet another possibility has emerged.
Fiorentina want to sign a winger before the January window slams shut.
The Tuscan club have been targeting a move for Parma winger Dennis Man. However, so far their €10 million offer has fallen well short of Parma’s €15 million asking price.
Therefore, a deal for Man is proving less and less likely.
On the other hand, Fiorentina could sign Buchanan on loan, with much less of an investment.
According to the Corriere, La Viola have come forward with an interest in doing just that.
