Report – Fiorentina Castaway Could Make Shock Inter Milan Return

Former Fiorentina captain Cristiano Biraghi is a leading candidate to replace Tajon Buchanan at Inter Milan ahead of Nicola Zalewski.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the veteran wingback has leapfrogged the Polish youngster on Inter’s wish list.

Tajon Buchanan is one step away from teaming up with Villarreal on loan for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, Inter already loaned Tomas Palacios out to Monza last week.

However, Simone Inzaghi won’t pursue a replacement for the Argentine center-back.

Yet, he’s keen to bolster his options on the wing.

Therefore, Inter could add another player to their squad before the curtain drops on the winter transfer window.

Biraghi came through the Inter academy before leaving the club in 2012.

Despite returning to Giuseppe Meazza two years later, he left again in 2016.

Furthermore, the Nerazzurri signed the 32-year-old on loan in 2019/20 but refused to make his transfer permanent.
