Report: Euro giants haven’t given up on signing Alexander-Arnold, they are considering second bid for the Liverpool ace

Their performances on the pitch have been excellent this season, but a big concern for them is that Trent Alexander-Arnold could leave Anfield soon.

The Merseyside giants recently turned down an opening approach from Real Madrid for the 26-year-old.

But The Times report the Spanish giants are considering making a second bid for the player in the January transfer window.

The La Liga giants have lost Dani Carvajal to injury for the rest of the campaign, leaving Lucas Vazquez as his deputy.

They have earmarked Alexander-Arnold as their next big signing in January. But Liverpool have firmly maintained that the talented right-back is not for sale, even though they risk losing him for nothing in the summer.

The Premier League outfit are continuing their negotiations with the player and the club have had no indication that he wants to leave.

The England international has spent all his career at Liverpool, and he is regarded as a generational talent.

He was a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s team that lifted the Premier League and Champions League trophies.

Alexander-Arnold has made 333 appearances in all competitions, with 20 goals and 85 assists to his name.

Given his important role in the club’s successes over the years, it would be a shame if he ends up leaving in the summer.
