Report claims United keen to move on seven senior players to fund further signings

Manchester United are reportedly willing to offload seven players to fund further transfers this summer.

The Red Devils have already completed the signings of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, but manager Erik ten Hag is also keen to add a central midfielder, a centre-back and a right-back.

To raise funds for new arrivals, United are ready to listen to offers for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen, according to ESPN.

They are also reportedly open to letting Harry Maguire, Antony, Scott McTominay and Jadon Sancho leave Old Trafford this summer.

Wan-Bissaka has been brilliant when it comes to defending but doesn’t offer the attacking threat.

The 26-year-old has entered the final year of his contract and it is only right that United are looking to cash in on him.

Lindelof and Eriksen also have a year left on their deals and they are deemed surplus to requirements at the club.

Meanwhile, Maguire is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford following the arrival of Leny Yoro.

The Premier League side are also looking to add another centre-back and have been negotiating a deal for Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt.

Antony has completely failed to meet expectations at United after joining the club in 2022 in a huge £82 million deal.

The same can also be said about Sancho, although his excellent loan stint at Bayern Munich suggested he would stay at Man Utd for next season.

But it appears they are open to offers for the England international as well.

McTominay played an important role for Erik ten Hag’s side last season and so it is little surprising they are ready to let him leave this summer.
