Rennes turn down Roma’s suggestion of including Rick Karsdorp in deal for Assignon

Rennes do not appear interested in out-of-favor Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp.

The Dutchman was recently excluded from Roma’s plans.

With only one year left on his contract, Roma are trying to get rid of Karsdorp for a minimal fee.

The Giallorossi’s most recent attempt to part ways with Karsdorp came during their talks with Rennes for the Frenchman Lorenz Assignon whom the capital club are targeting as a possible summer reinforcement.

According to Il Tempo, Roma suggested including Karsdorp in a deal for Assignon but the attempt was not met with enthusiasm by Rennes.

The French side turned down this idea, demanding cash only for Assignon whose estimated price tag is valued at around 10 million euros.
