According to a report from L’Équipe, Stade Rennais have inquired with Paris Saint-Germain over the status of Arnau Tenas (23). The third-choice goalkeeper at PSG has not yet made an appearance for the capital club in the current campaign and only made six in the previous season.

Despite the lack of appearances, the gold medalist with Spain over the summer remains an intriguing player and one that PSG have been reluctant to let leave. In the last transfer window, Les Parisiens rejected an approach from RC Lens to keep the former Barcelona player at the club.

Luis Enrique has made it clear that he likes having a three-man rotation for the goalkeeping position, and while Tenas has not done enough to unseat either Gianluigi Donnarumma (25) or Matvei Safonov (25), he still has a role within the squad.

Rennes are thought to be looking for an eventual successor to Steve Mandanda (39) and while they are interested in Tenas, L’Équipe writes that the approach has at this point gone no further than an initial inquiry.
