The 22-year-old is in his second season at the Stadio Olimpico and has become a regular starter under Marco Baroni this term, providing one assist in 14 appearances across all competitions.

Lazio will make his move permanent from Juventus at the end of the season, paying €17m.

The midfielder’s agreement with the Biancocelesti reportedly includes a €50m clause that Lazio will demand from any interested club.

Rovella made his senior Italy debut during the international break in November, starting against Belgium in a 1-0 victory in Bruxelles. He was also introduced as a substitute in the following game against France at San Siro.
