A snowy day in Boulder, Colorado led to a flurry of snowballs from fans in the stands of Coloardo football’s game against Utah on Saturday.

The snowballs got to the point that referee Mark Duddy had to pause the game to urge fans to cease throwing snowballs at the players.

“We ask the fans on both sides not to throw snowballs onto the field,” Duddy said. “That’s dangerous for the players from both teams. Please, no snowballs down on the field, thank you.”

You’ll be shocked to learn that the snowballs didn’t help the Buffaloes much in the game, as they would eventually fall 30-7 for their sixth straight loss after a 5-0 start. Colorado now sits in last place in the Pac-12 South at 2-6 in the conference, 5-6 overall.
