Red Wings Prospect Makes Scoring Goals Look Easy
Some people make things look easy.
Earlier this season, losses were coming easy to the Detroit Red Wings. While that is a negative, the Red Wings have some positive things to look forward to.
They have incredible defense and goaltending prospects waiting in the wings. However, they don't have a blue-chip forward prospect primed for a big offensive role with the club.
Most of their forward prospects are well-rounded two-way players. However, one prospect is making waves this season and has made scoring goals look easy.
Dmitri Buchelnikov, 21, is playing for HC Vityas in the KHL and is putting his stamp on the league.
He is currently on a goal-scoring streak. Buchelnikov has scored a goal in four straight games.

The Russian forward is putting together an impressive season. He has played 38 games so far this year. Buchelnikov has 12 goals and 22 assists and has fired 110 shots on the net while playing 17:17 per game.
He ranks 10th overall in the KHL in points. Buchelnikov is first on his team in points and second in goals.
Buchelnikov was the Red Wings 52nd overall selection in the 2022 NHL entry draft. He is currently in his second full season playing in the KHL. Last year, he recorded 29 points in 55 games while playing 14:37 per game.
After this year, he still has one full season under contract in the KHL. Therefore, it would be in the Red Wings' best interest to bring him to North America as soon as possible.
Seeing Buchelnikov score in Red Wings fans' backyard could help them appreciate how much skill this player has.
And how he makes scoring goals look so easy.
