Morgan Geekie played a big role in the win, as he had a goal and an assist. With this, the 26-year-old forward now has 10 goals and 20 points in 40 games this season. In addition, he has four points over his last five games.
Geekie's start to the season was brutal, as he had just four points in his first 18 games. He was also scratched multiple times. However, he has not only improved his play as the season has rolled on but has also been one of the Bruins' top offensive contributors. His 10 goals are now tied for third on the Bruins. In addition, he is now tied with Charlie McAvoy for fifth on the Bruins in points.
Heading into this season, the hope was that Geekie would build off his breakout 2023-24 season. While he got off to a shaky start in 2024-25, he is now on pace to set new career highs in goals and points this season. It will be interesting to see how he builds on his hot streak from here, but the 6-foot-3 forward is hitting a new level right now.
