There’s no better way to win over a fan base than a little disrespect to your new team’s biggest rival.

Mississippi recruit Tae-kion Reed chose between Ole Miss and Mississippi State on National Signing Day and threw the MSU hat before putting on an Ole Miss one.

Reed, a native of Columbus, is a two-star recruit. His fakeout is good, don’t get us wrong, but it’s not as good as what linebacker Levi Smith pulled earlier in the day when he chose USC.

Mississippi State is still doing better in recruiting than Ole Miss is, at least according to Rivals. As of Wednesday afternoon, Ole Miss’ class is No. 42 in the country while Mississippi State’s class checks in at No. 27.
