Recently Acquired Defenseman Scores First Goal With Minnesota

David Jiricek, the recently acquired defenseman, scored his first goal with the Minnesota Wild on Saturday against the Nashville Predators.

Jiricek, 21, was acquired by the Wild in late November for defensive prospect Daemon Hunt and four draft picks, including a first round pick.

The 6-foot-4 defenseman has one goal in five games for the Wild this year
